There's a stack of security products on the market and while we don't recommend any of them in particular, we are impressed with a few. Even so, rather then telling you "this" or "that" is the best, why not do a bit of research. We'll put up some links that we consider contain a product or information to help you decide on what will do the best job of locking your bike up. Then it's up to you.
Chain and lock testing: Almax Security Chains (www.almax-security-chains.co.uk/)
This is a British company that sells some pretty high grade chains but have a look at their "Wall of Shame" page.
Vehicle security system: Neo-Trac (www.t-trac.com.au)
This has been designed primarily for 4 wheel vehicles but it's certainly worth considering if your value your bike. Even a new dirt bike costs $14k+ and some ADV bikes a LOT more. If you park you bike in the shed, then this would be the ultimate security system. Give Mark Bullen a call on 02 4297 2538 |
